I TRULY cannot stand Geno Auriemma.

Here are some of his comments after losing to North Carolina.

"I recruited a bunch of kids that don't have the confidence to play here and they don't necessarily exude that confidence when they walk out on the floor," Auriemma said. "For one of the very few times that I've been here I walk out on the floor and I don't know that my team shares the same beliefs that I do. I'm beginning to realize maybe it's not their fault and I'm trying to get something out of them that's not there."

Jerk. That isn't blaming HIMSELF. If I were a parent of one of those girls that play for him, I'd show him some confidence.

Auriemma refuses to acknowledge that ANYBODY is really good enough to beat his team. He is a jerk and I hope we SMASH Pukeonn this year.

After watching that UNC vs UConn game UConn is going to struggle against every good team they play this year crap if they played the lady vols schedule they would be 2-5 right now

Gee, nothing draws ire like completely dominating a team. Andy Landers is twice as big an a$$ as Geno, but nobody gets red in the face over him. Let the Female Version of Basketball Vols beat UCONN in a Final Four, then I'll take the attacks on Auriemma more seriously.

As much as I dislike Geno too, he is using psychology on his players to get them motivated. Any good coach knows how and what to say to players to get them to play a level better. I've had coaches who would use that kind of psychology and it works for most players. There will be a few players who tend to shutdown and not get any better. I don't think the Lady Huskies will lay down. We will see a much improved team over the course of the season. However, I don't believe they will beat our Lady Vols.

Since 1995 the Lady Vols have appeared in 10 Final Fours, UConn 8. Final Game - Lady Vols 7, UConn - 5. Titles - UConn 4, Lady Vols - 3. I think we can say we have been at least as successful and have the right to speak about Geno.

What's the head to head record in Final Fours? When you rip someone who dominates you in big games, it sounds like sour grapes.

When he lost Diana, he also lost that dominance. I don't think he'll be beating the Lady Vols in anymore big games for quite some time.
