I heard that Kippy Brown was being considered for receivers coach..I'm just wondering, as much as i respect his success and NFL experience. I would like to see some fresh young faces in the mix to keep the old timers on thier toes and perhaps foster a think outside-of-the-box atmosphere in the program. Cut promises us an exciting 30 point offense but if you surround yourself with a bunch of your old backslappers from your own barnyard, I just dont see that happening easily...thoughts?

That may be true in some regards, but there is not a finer coach anywhere than Kippy Brown, especially where WRs are concerned.

If you can get that guy, you take it and run.

Agreed...i hated it when he left the first time...he's a great coach, and if we can get him, then we need to make sure to...even if we have to wait until the Texans season is over...if he'd come back, for me, it'd be worth the wait.

I guess the bigger questions are what is to be done about OL, TE and special teams with only one more slot to fill?

all the stuff i have read shows Adkins moving to OL/TE and maybe Fulmer taking over ST??

For me, leave Adkins where he is, Fulmer coach the OL/TE and go get a special teams specialist/coordinator/whatever...

As much as I would like to see some fresh faces, I would much rather see Cut's QBs throwing to Kippy's WRs! If that don't work we are probably replacing the whole staff anyway!
