Question?

I was wondering something.

This might be the wrong forum for it, but anyways...

I have the movie Destiny.

Tennessee Vols DesTiny VHS Tape

It's for VHS though because I bought it like back in 99'.

I was wondering how I could transfer it to a DVD, so I could take it and put it on Youtube which would take about 4 or 5 Vids on there.

Does anyone know if there is away to connect your VCR and DVD Player together and record it or something...

Confusing I know...

If you know how, thanks for any help that you can give me.

Is the DVD player a recorder? I have a harddrive on mine. I hooked my VCR to the dvd recorder and record my tape to the HD. Then I put it on DVD. It is pretty simple once you get everything hooked up.

I got my recorder from wal-mart. Wasn't too expensive. BUT GET ONE WITH A HARDDRIVE!!!!!

yeah, to my knowledge, you are going to need either a DVD player/recorder which, as xtenn said, makes the job pretty simple. Otherwise, you could use an external DVD burner, many of which are compatible with PC as well as being able to record from television or VHS playback. DVD recorders can be as cheap as 50 or 60 bucks nowadays, cheaper if you can find one on craigslist or something. I got my external DVD burner from Walley World for 50 something; the brand is Lite-On, and I've had nothing but good luck with it. Let me know if I can be of further help!

If you had a tuner card you could just record an .avi directly from the VHS.
