I wanted to mess around with downloading clips from you tube and making small videos of vol football. What programs do most people use? I looked at the free you tube downloaders, but the reviews all stated that the software was full of spyware, maleware, and gave babylon power over your web browser. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Also would i need to download an flv or vlc player?

Go to KeepVid: Download and save any video from Youtube, Dailymotion, Metacafe, iFilm and more! everyone I know uses that, including myself.

Thanks. Im probably doing it the hard way, but I downloaded a youtube downloader then had to download a vlc player to watch it. I then tried dragging the video into moviemaker, but movie maker doesn't recognize flv files so I then had to download a video converter. Finally I converted the video to wmv and it worked. Im playing around with highlights from last season and getting used to movie maker.
