Thats right I said it. I have lived in Tennessee most of my life. I lived in Murfreesboro for 9 years, then Beechgrove/Manchester for 5 years. I had to move out of the great state when I was 15 to Georgia. I lived in GA for 4 yrs before I left for the Air Force. Now im stationed in Little Rock, AR. Yes, Phillip Fulmer was at the touchdown club here this past week and I went and threw rocks at him.
I have been to a Vandy Vs. Tenn. at Vandy. I believe my step dad was a big Vandy fan after Vandy saved my sisters life after she was diagnosed (sp) with Leukiemia. This same sister is going to the great University of Tennessee! But I have yet to make it to a home game. Ive had to settle for going to the Arkansas vs. LSU game last year and then this past weekened went to the Arkansas vs. GA game. Both games were FREE! I might add. I went decked out in my Tennessee gear and you should have seen the looks I got. I was at the stadium here in Arkansas at the place called the Student Union and was watching the Tenn Vs Florida game. You should have seen the looks i was getting. When Tennessee scored the late 4th quarter touchdown I started standing up clapping and yelling and behind me you could here the crickets. Everyone just stopped and looked at me so I started clapping slower you know like the guy in the movie that tries to start everyone aff clapping and No one follows him and he looks like a retard. Yea that was me. Well then everyone starting laughing, the guys i was with (arkansas, and a Fresno State fan) got a kicked out of it. It was actually entertaining. Then an sweet old woman walked up to me and said " I was born in Tennessee and root for them when they are not playing arkansas" I asked her in a nice way "what the hell happened to you and dont try and jump on the Lane Train when we wax the razorbacks A$$" So I hoped you enjoyed my little story. Now who is going to help me and sell me some tickets for the Home game Vs. Arkansas? Now I know there is a board for ticket sales on volnation but it looks really dead. So I decieded to break the rule kinda and ask on the main football board.
Dont question my Fan hood either about not being able to ever make a home game. Ill get in one of these C-130s here on base and fly to where you are and punch you in the throat box! THANKS!
