Not understanding what I'm reading

Okay...so my son got acceptable and will be attending Tennessee this coming Fall. I have read a lot of stuff regarding tickets (both for students and for guest)...and it's making me dizzy.

Can someone please help me make sense of this?

How are student tickets handled? Is there a ticket office where I can take my son to buy season tickets during his orientation/registration?

I also read something about a student being able to get discounted tickets for a guest (I'd assume this might mean a parent coming for a visit)

Students request tickets the week before each game online. Bigorangetix.com maybe?

They can get up to 2 guest tickets at face value in the student section and request these at the time they request their tickets. These are based on availability, but I never requested one and didn't get it while I was in school.

I think it's acutally uttix.com. There's a link in the top corner for student tickets, but like thrasher said, I don't think they're offering an option for students to buy a season ticket package. It's just game by game IIRC.

Never noticed the link on uttix.com before, but bigorangetix.com is the direct URL to the student ticket page.
