Jay Rome or bust. | We NEED 2 TE's in this class. Jay Rome isn't going to come here. Time to move on. Anderson and Clear are fine TE's. |

| I dont know if I would consider Anderson and Clear as a good TE haul. TE is a huge need. They need guys that can come in and play right away. Those aren't Jay Rome caliber players. |

You'd think we could pull at least 1 big time TE this class. |

| Pulling Jay Rome would be sick. I was banking on MacLain as our guy to come in and play early.

| No doubt. Playing time is almost a guarantee for a big-time TE prospect if he were to come to Tennessee.
There will always be fans who will consider every single pickup a good pickup just because he picks Tennessee, totally ignoring that fact that we need elite talent to compete with the likes of Alabama, Florida, LSU, etc...
I remember with 2 of Fulmer's last 3 recruiting classes the fans said how we signed all these super "sleeper" 3-star prospects. It was laughable, I mean people were saying how happy they were to get low 3 star guys who want to be Vols instead of those "overated" 4 star guys.
Based on the on-field results since then of 5-7, 7-6, and next year probably a similar record to those two seasons, I'd say the program is performing right about where there talent level is. |

We have to shoot for the best, even though we will miss some we will also score some. Settling is what got us where we are now. |

| I doubt Boise St would finish better than 7-6 in the SEC. It helps them to play 10 games against teams with 1 star and no star recruits. |

Put Boise State in the SEC with their roster and how do they do? I say they are around a .500 team each year. I still remember them a few years ago going to Georgia with a lot of hype and I think they walked away with about a 54-12 loss. |

| My mistake Georgia beat Boise 48-13 when they played, not 54-12. I have clearly underestimated Boise. |
