Scout has us listed with med. interest but no offer, currently rated a 3* recruit now. Played at El Camino where current Vols Matt Simms and Kenbrell Thompkins come from. Could be a decent signing, what do ya'll think?

So did he get slower or weaker with age or something. I dont understand these rankings.

you would think with us signing two already from there that the coaches would have already attempted to sign him if they thought he was that good.

Well going off his '06 profile he was 220lb and ran a 4.68, now he weighs in at 235lb and runs a 4.55. So he managed to add some muscle and still increase his speed so I don't get why he is still a 3*. I'm not sure he'll get an offer but he could be a decent signing since we missed on every one of our LB targets.

Last time I checked it's not Feb. 3rd yet.

Not saying it won't happen, because I know this staff believes in second chances, but this guy has a rough record. Groh dismissed him from UVA for credt card theft and credit card fraud last year (link below). Also, not sure about his grades at all. I heard rumors of him going to the FCS level, but I do not know if that is due to grades or if his game has gone downhill. Just my $.02.
