I know the NFL front office has people on it's payroll strictly dedicated to watching tape tp make sure players aren't making any gang gestures. It's a huge deal. I'd venture to say the NCAA cares just as much. Funny how ESPN won't cover any of this, though... let us all bow at the temple of CUM (fitting acronym).

By any chance were you one of those hysterical individuals decrying the 04's use of "gang signs" when they held up three fingers to represent the school's third straight SEC Tournament championship? do you assume all hand gestures you don't recognize are gang related? were you shocked the first time you saw Spock throw up the Vulcan salute or the first time you saw Hook 'em Horns?
The photo of Trail (as an 8th grader mind you) was of him flashing a hand gesture representing his neighborhood, the "Swamp" section of Miami's Overtown. Players from Booker T. Washington gesture that way in celebration during games all the time. It's not gang related at all. The school would have put an end to that long ago if it was. But hey call the NCAA if you actually think these guys are in gangs. They love wasting time on ridiculous things.
