I'd rather he had stayed to be honest. If he had stayed it would have been one more year max, so this years recruits would be looking at a guaranteed DC change next year. Now FSU has a chance to get an exciting young DC in there and actually build some momentum with recruiting.

Andrews is a Florida legend, just like Monte.....Andrews is gone and at least for this year Monte is the obvious "bird in the4 hand" for recruits

This was known awhile back -- before the season I think. It's not going to help recruiting. The recruits that matter were already aware of it.

I love the wishful thinking though.

I don't think that will affect us any. Most people are waiting on Bowden to leave too.

This seems like it could be bad news. If everyone knew Andrews was leaving but they had not picked a great replacement it would create uncertainty for Jones.

Joyner is not an option for us as far as I know, so who the staff gets and whether they can keep Christian Jones is the main way this news impacts us.

I wouldn't worry about Lance or any other Asst coach, they are all getting OC and DC money anyway. I think they would only leave for a HC job.
