I don't think he's that good. | How in the world did the kid ever even get on the recruiting radar for anyone? I dont know a lot about his past, but if he was playing somewhere else and was doing well enough to get "noticed", why did he leave there? If Baty gets offers while a QB such as Grayson continues to get passed on by programs, I will have no choice but to admit that me ever understanding the process of evaluating talent is hopeless.

That would just make NO sense. I doubt Baty ever had a written offer from us. | I never said he had an offer. Before the season started and before Bray blew up, there 7 or 8 QBs (Kaiser, Munchie, Baty, Mason, etc.) who the Vols were in contact with. Baty was one of them...
And I still don't get why everyone is so big on Garrett Grayson. The staff has never shown interest in him. No other school has given him much attention, besides UL who won't even offer him. I just don't get it...

I am not "big" on Grayson or anything......but I would definitely feel better offering him a scholarship, as opposed to a kid that cant even start in high school. Watching film of Grayson, I am glad I never gave up my job as an Engineer to be a scout.....because other than his delivery, I cant find anything about him that stands out as a reason or reasons that he doesnt have at least ONE freakin offer from SOMEBODY.

| Do y'all really think that a kid is dictating to his parents that he wants to move from CA to FL to CT. I'm not trying to sound like an old man, but no 17 year old has that much influence over his parents. Much better chance that his dad or mom is getting bounced from job to job. Take it easy on the personal shots on this kid until you know more about what is really going on. |
