Couple of points here.

IMO, this is the OVERALL best linebacker in the class, even better than Jeff Luc. And Luc is a guy my Gators are in the hunt for. Luc gets credit for what he does to a ball carrier after he catches him. Well Hicks is going to catch more in the first place.

Also, I have no idea where it's coming from that UF is one of the leaders. If so, it's the best kept secret in Gainesville because nary a peep is spoken about Hicks.

Hubbs has been saying for a couple of weeks that UT will be going HARD after this guy. I fully expect the Vols to be in it until the end. Lance Thompson was supposed to be at his school today as well...

And BTW, Hicks > Luc...

That's just my opinion. This is gonna sound to stupid to most people. Heck, it sounds stupid to me but here goes... I think Luc is a little overrated because of the way he hits people haha...

You're pretty much right. Lucs highlight tape lends it to get noticed more because the way he just kills people. That seems like all he can do besides just being a beast physically though.

Hicks is probably the most complete overall defensive player in the country.

Browning basically hunted down the coach of the school where Hicks and the #9 TE go at a coaching clinic.

Then it just describes the players pretty much. It says they (The HC and DC *Whos daughter plays basketball at UT*) talk about Monte Kiffin and how great of a school we are, ..etc

Just from the article it sounds like we've got a really good shot at the TE and a decent shot at Hicks.
