This is the place to be if you want to know everything there is to know about Tennessee football recruiting. We have several guys, you included Eric, that are doing a great job of keeping track of everything that goes on. It's never been a more exciting time to follow recruiting and it's no easy task considering that these guys are going at it at an unprecedented rate. When Bebe stood up there and said that he will not be outworked - he was telling the truth. This class will start coming together real soon and we have some real players that are going to do a knock-out job.

Eddie Gran in South Florida is going to bring in the players. Make no mistake. We will own Louisiana this year thanks to Frank Wilson. Atlanta is UT territory now thanks to O and Lance Thompson.

Watch it come together, folks. It's gonna be a thing of beauty.

They won't accept the commitments of the ones that are marginally on our list until it is clear we aren't getting the ones they want the most....

You know...now that I think of it, perhaps Eddie should have been the one assigned to Marlon Brown. Seeing how CMR played the religious card to reel MB in, Eddie Gran is Godly man himself, who had to endure a tragedy (losing his son) himself. I think MB's grandma would've taken a liking to Eddie. Great story of perserverence despite his loss (I think Eddie has a foundation in honor of his child).
Hate to sound so superficial, but I think it was important that MB and his grandma know that we have some good Christian coaches on our staff too (when that's an important criteria for a recruit). It's water under teh bridge now, but perhaps a lesson was learned.

You're going to be able to take them all.

The kids are going to be so pumped that 200 of them are going to come to UT as walk-ons.

The competition for playing time and uniform numbers will be fierce.

All kidding aside. You guys, have made this a great board. I've tried to import some of the look and feel to my home board *** , but I'm not sure that I can re-create the hard core participants from Vol Nation.
