The Miami fans on the MB claim that he doesn't even have an offer. Who knows what's really going on...

His recruitment confuses me... I've interviewed him before and he claimed to have offers from everywhere (USC, Florida, Tennessee, FSU, Miami, etc) but none of his profiles list offers from any. I know profiles aren't a great way to determine offers but I would think that they would at least list some. I'm not sure if any of the staffs that offered him would accept a commitment from him (maybe not even UT) with the exception of Boston College.

Why won't they accept his commit? off-field issues?

I think they just want to see what other guys do... Right now it looks like Lache Seastrunk, Michael Dyer, and Eduardo Clements will all take officials and they most definitely in it for Giovanni Bernard. Those four are they guys they want first and foremost IMO.
