| The University of Miami has made a scholarship offer to David Perry DE at University School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Perry also has offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida St., Kentucky, Ole Miss, Oregon, Purdue, South Carolina, Tennessee and Central Florida.

| so much for getting a commitment before other schools got involved. it doesn't hurt Tennessee's chances to get in early, though. Quote:

| No suprise really. Miami is doing a good job. Mark Whipple should be given a raise. If Miami would have beaten VT, you would be seeing Harris for Heisman. | |
