| The NCAA needs to move recruits inside the Chinese firewall.
What morons. They really should stick to on-the-field rules. Society is way too big for them. |

| Wow...makes sense though or schools would begin to use it as a major tool.

| Why are they making rules like this when they can be working on a playoff? |

| This has been a standard position for a while, no? I think that it is utterly unenforceable.....as others have noted above, all we would have to do is pretend to be bama fans and rack up violations for them. It is basically the NCAA reacting to technology that is escalating out of their control. |

The fact is you can't, with the way technology is today, anything can be done. And if your not a student or coach of the university, it looks like they really couldn't do anything to stop you anyways.

| They are way behind the power curve and constantly trying to play catch up. Urban Meyer was using the text messaging during the dead period for voice callling because there was no rule at the time about it. Some coaches and staff members say I can do anything except those things that are expressing limited. The problem is the NCAA can't think up all the things they should limit fast enough. I think they eventually will have to back off the facebook stance once it becomes a ALCU, etc. free speech issue. |
