Unfortunately, I don't plan on interviewing him any time soon, I got a lot of people to call (Lache Seastrunk, Shakim Phillips, Anthony Barr, Michael Dyer, etc etc etc). I wouldn't be surprised if Prehm does though, he seems to be better connected on the West Coast than myself.

You got a great line up of guys you are interviewing. Try to convince Barr, Dyer, and Seastrunk to sign up.

Does everyone know this kid plays DT in high school??? haha, he's 6'2 215-220 and plays DT for his high school squad, no joke! I guess they'll let him move to LB for his senior season to help with playing that in college but his highlight vids all have him playing, what amounts to, nose tackle!!!>???

I'm not 100% sold on this kid yet. I like Fortt much better at this point.

"My top eight schools, in no order, are USC, UCLA, Washington, Arizona, Tennessee, Miami, Notre Dame and Cal," Shirley said. "I play to take my five official visits to all the out of state schools and then unofficially visit USC, UCLA and Cal.

Despite liking the attention from bigger schools in the east, just sounds like he's west coast bound to me.

“USC and UCLA are recruiting me the most,” Shirley said. “I have a real good relationship with coaches at both schools."

Another program that Shirley’s likely to visit officially is Tennessee. “I saw some of the highlights of their game against Western Kentucky ( 63-7 rout),” he said. “And they are ruthless. They kept scoring.”
Per Scout...

UCLA did themselves a favor winning on the road this weekend. I think UCLA is in good shape. They can offer him playing time and location. However, Monte can get him if we cant get Luc.

I think Shirley is our best chance to snag a bigtime LB, I like Taylor alot; but this kid lineing up with King and Askew in a few years would be tremendous, but IM going to keep my fingers crossed for LUC!
