I'm not saying we'll be the team to get Hicks, but we've had good success in Cincinnati and have a decent fanbase there. |

One of Hick's h.s. coaches has a daughter at UT. The staff will need to get him on campus for a visit. We'll see where Tennessee stands after a visit. |

| X has said that this kid is our number 1 linebacker on the board.
I had no idea.
Seems like USC will be very tough competition for this kid |

| Shirley's teammate just committed to USC, I found this interesting. Quote: |
"Brown's teammate, four-star linebacker Josh Shirley, also holds a scholarship offer from USC. While favoring UCLA and Tennessee before the Rising Stars Camp, Shirley has begun reconsidering USC.

| I didn't know it had come down to UCLA and us. Let him take his official here for the UCLA game. Let him see what Monte's Defense looks like destroying them.............

| I would say as things stand right now Shirley is still a long shot for Tennessee.
I just dont see him going anywhere but UCLA or USC in the end. |

Hicks favorite school since he was a kid has been Texas but he is under immense pressure by some adults who are trying to throw their influence into his recruitment to go to OSU. |

"I think about the atmosphere and the great conference they play in," Shirley said. "They have a great coaching staff. Coach Cregg is recruiting me for them and he's a great guy. They have a lot of NFL experience and that's where I want to be someday. It's a great thought when evaluating their program."
| California LB may see the Vols
