Get in that boy's ear. Once he gets an offer from UT we can't lose him.

I think the Vols would have the best shot at him.....very easy for his mom to come and see him at Neyland. Still, I think whoever is the 1st school to offer, will play a strong role in his decision....

I know he likes Tennessee, Colorado, UNC, UCLA, Arizona State, Oregon

Real deal meaning what in this instance? I agree he's good, but at 5'7" I wouldn't exactly call him the real deal at the college level. He's got some growing to do before he can expect any big offers IMO.

real deal in the sense that he can really play....well of course not at the college level..he isnt there yet. But just like people have doubt him..in pee wee....high school......I would bet he proves them wrong. I wouldnt bet against this kid...has amazing drive...

size is very overrated ...I'd expect you to know that Sab.....

you can go and get a pretty 6-0 190 RB...from any state...and I would bet that they wouldnt have much on Young other than size.....that has already been proven.....

none of those star studded upperclassmen could deal with him at UT's camp...and they are suppose to be better prospects.....to some.....

I've seen this kid LOCKdown Tyler Maples, Ahmad Paige....Gerald Jones as a FROSH in hs in drills over on campus....pick off passes from Crompton and BJ Coleman....he's just special.........
regardless of size...

repsect his game...not his size because as we have seen it doesnt matter

no..they just told him not to go to UCLA camp....told him there wasnt a need to do that. Now does he take that as an offer...no.....so until its offically said...he has to keep giving himself options.....

I am a huge Devrin Young fan. His ability cannot be denied. I really hope for him to do well.

Having said that, while size may be overrated, it is a huge factor in whether or not a school chooses to offer a prospect. If Devrin grows a couple of inches he will be highly recruited, if he doesn't, I don't think he will. Does anyone even know if he's a legit 5'7"?

I dont think size will matter.....on Sept 1st.....
he was measured at the UT camp at 5-6 1/2...

I dont think it matters if he will be highly recruited...IMO it doesnt....but if you dont think he will play for a BCS school...then you are kidding yourself.....besides you dont have to be highly recruited...all you need is one offer from one school...and I'm sure he will have several to choose from....
