As far as we can think, that's probably USC, but it may very well be USC and Tennessee, and he (for some unknown reason) would pick Florida. But no evidence. | 10-4 Thanks for catching me up on the last 2,000 posts... |

| He is good enough to compete with them and earn the start, but i dont think that is PC style, a rookie or underclassman playing before a senior or upperclassmen? We just dont see that happening at USC. |

| He may have the skills, but he's too far behind mentally to get in next year unless injuries come into play. |

| This is going to sound harsh, but honestly, if JS doesn't come to Tennessee, then I call him a coward. He's making such bold claims such as "I'm a leader and not a follower" and "I don't do what everyone thinks I will" and drawing star attention to himself. I'm not saying that Tennessee can MAKE him a star over USC or FL, but I am saying that if he is good enough to think that he deserves all of this media attention, then he oughta go to a place where he can back it up immediately.
Think about it, it's going to be 2-4 years before he ever gets to play at USC, who is going to remember all this hoopla then? He will just be the next in line to play a season. But here, he will be thought of every time a incomplete pass is thrown, or a interception (which hopefully is very little), and when we think about years to come. He will be able to come in right away and lead a team and call it his team. If he's so sure of himself, and if he's a star, then he should go to the place that lets him prove it.
Anyone can win at USC. Anyone can win at FL with the talent they have right now. Don't be a coward. Come to UT and prove you're as good as you think you are. |

It never has been his style before, I can say for sure that it won't happen, but highly unlikley.. |

| And before you can say that by him going to USC proves he's not a coward because he's willing to face competition, I don't say that makes him brave, I say it makes him stupid. Carroll is sold on Barkley, and Barkley is the Golden Child. Carroll has only showed interest in JS because he's one of the few remaining, and he's in the backyard, and he may even be doing it to help CLK out. Scroggins is good, but he will not be a great quarterback at USC. Not at all. So, he may think that he can ride the depth chart up, but unless injury or other things happen, he won't be a star at USC. He may not even play. I just don't see it. Too many good quarterbacks there who have paid their dues. |

I'm just completely sold that he SHOULD come to UT, and that's not my bias, that's looking at it logically. So if he doesn't, then I'm obviously going to think he made a idiot choice. And plus, all of this that he's doing with the media, if he's doing it just for his personal glory, then it don't sit too well with me. I want the kid, but he's getting a little insane with all this. |

Not trying to argue with you, just my opinion. Although he is definitely brave if he comes all the way across the nation to play for UT or FL, it's harder to do then some people are willing to admit. |
