We do not need to become a positional U, we need to be an NFL factory that produces more players who are ready to star on Sunday than any other. We need 1999 Vols level talent again.
Janzen Jackson and Darren Myles will turn into the best safety tandem in the SEC and join Berry in the NFL. Riley would be great there with them.
At CB, we do not have many Goodrich type guys, and I think most of the guys we are looking at (Riggs) are not destined for long stud NFL careers like a Woodson or a Champ Bailey.
At LB we get Luc and there is your superstar NFL guy.
At D Line we have had huge success in the league, Reggie White, Leonard Little, Sean Ellis, Albert Haynesworth, John Henderson...
Let's make it happen captain... |

Penn State doesn't have that many more LB's in *history* that have gone on to NFL success than we do, but they are getting some caliber of players at that position in the last decade that aren't even considering us (until recently).
We are making strides, but to say that we're in the same ballpark right now as PSU and OSU for linebackers is a little biased & extreme.
