Sorry to be such a homer but why would a kid with such a UT connection with the talent he has not be high on the list?

Of course, coaches know best. Please advise...
He's all star rating. He can't play with the other kids on his team And he's small.

This guy's stock has dropped quite a bit. Some say he has tried to commit to both UGA and UF, but neither one of them would accept it cuz they are wanting to see how the other CBs fall...

Well it makes you think that UT must have him down the board as well, b/c if UT was showing the love then Im sure Riggs would be inclined to be a Vol.

I don't know if I would go that far but the staff wants to see what happens with Josh Shaw for sure. I don't think Riggs tried to commit, but I do think he is starting to understand that his stock is dropping a bit. That is why Florida pushed his OV back by almost 3 months...they want to wait and see what happens with Josh Shaw before they accept a commitment from Riggs. Riggs wanted to visit for the UT game but we told him to hold-off on that.

Riggs is a bit down on Tennessee's board as well. They have Wright, Hampton, Mitchell and a few others ahead of him.

After seeing him in person on his OV I'm not surprised. Very very smallish, both height-wise and build-wise.

I know, right? He's a small dude.

I was all about some Cody Riggs until I watched the Byrnes/STA game. He got torched a few times and seems to be stiff-hipped.

Figure of speach, pal.

I'm not trying to reach rexvol status, here. The kid is a shrimp. We saw him on his official back in September. I'm not tall at all...5'10-5'11 or so...and I would dwarf him. In fact, if you look back in this thread, you commented about how he couldn't handle Milton and I disagreed...well, after watching him play and what not...I admit I was wrong. He would get owned. I have no doubt. Don't be so quick to jump the gun next time...I'm not out to get you. You just confuse me. You've either got really good info that makes me think, or you've got you're opinion that mostly brings about a facepalm.

That's what I was thinking. We would have to miss on a few DB's for the staff to really go after him.

Victor Hampton? Really? He was abused at Florida's FNL camp to the point that he actually apologized to the coaches. He has potential but it's a long way away.

“Florida is number one right now and Georgia is number two. I would say Florida has a little lead on Georgia.”

“Yeah, I am going to visit Florida on November 28 when they play Florida State and that will be my last visit,” he said. “I should be ready to commit after that visit.”
Per Scout...

Yes. They like his size and strength a lot more. Trust me Riggs is small. Really small both height-wise and build-wise.

The top guys at CB on Tennessee's board are: Wright, Mitchell, Hampton and Robey.
