| Why choose? Why is everyone on here saying, If I had to choose between this player or that player, I would take this one?
I say if we can get these stud players (Brown, Geathers, Charles, Oku) get them all, It will only make for good competition at practice, and these challenges will make the Vols a better ball team. It's not like we don't have enough scholarships!
And whoever thinks we have enough depth at RB, the truth is we have 3 backs, Hardesty plays 5 games a year (always injured), Creer will be the work horse, And Poole is slow, and nowhere near as good of back as the two in front of him. Brown and Oku both would play before him. So in my opinion we have 1 back (Creer), and Brown and Oku would both see significant playing time.
Bring'em on
GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!! |

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!! | everyone is talking about choosing because it gives us something to talk about. it allows the rest of us to gather opinions about who others think would benefit us most. i think everyone would be more than happy to get everybody, but that is highly unlikely. these "who do you want" threads are pure speculation and opinion and theyre kinda fun. |

| from what brown has been saying lately, we are probably third on his list. right now its an oregon-usc tie, mainly because, in his opinion, we dont have enough quality players to call this an offense, but rather the Bryce Brown show. hopefully he realizes the quality of talent we picked up (and the undeveloped quality we already have) and sees the campus and the passionate fans. i think brown ends up at oregon. we dont get a shot because of the reason i mentioned above, and i think usc is already stacked at rb. honestly, though, i think the kid may be a bit scared of sec competition and doesn't want to be the guy everyone looks up to. if thats the attitude he actually has then i dont know that i really want him. |

I think there is a chance we could get one of them, but the chance of getting both of them is highly unlikely. I agree with you, i think Oku is waiting to see what Brown is going to do. |

| I would rather have Oku. I think Brown has too many handlers to be a team player. I remember all the ESPN footage of how Washington was such a great player. phooey ... |

| I like the phrase ALL PURPOSE BACK! Does that mean Oku is more versitile than Brown? If so I think we need that more than just a hard nose runner we have that already with Hardest and Poole and we will have a smash mouth back with Toney so I think we need a swing back that can get into open space and be blazing fast. Creer is our game breaker and he will need someone to help him! If Brown is a selfish player and not a team player like his coach says than we should go after Oku. |

| After watching both players highlight videos, I'd have to say that Brown is the better back. He reminds me of Barry Sanders with his ability to change directions and he is incredibily quick. I'm not a fan of the "agent" idea, but our staff could solve that problem I think. |

| I would much rather have Brown than Oku just because of the quality of player he is. I don't think we have a remote shot at getting both. |
