if he transfers to another SEC school wouldnt he have to sit out 2 years as per conference rules?

and if that rule is still in place, and having already redshirted, that wouldnt be a good decision

Yeah most sources think UVA. His parents are divorced and his father moved with him to TTown. Last year most thought he would transfer. Alot of talk from his father last year about this and that but he stayed for another year. Apparantly he is moving back home to be near his mother. The fact that his father moved with im shows he likes to have family around.

Even with sitting out in the fall he will still have 2 seasons after that to play at wherever. Good luck to him wherever he goes.

Only if he is not released is my understanding. If released only one year.

Let me correct that. A player transferring from one SEC school to another has to sit out a year, but they can not receive financial aid for 2 years. So for example, C Grant who transferred to AU sat out last year and will be able to play, but will be at his own expense this coming year like last.

Iirc, he decommitted from Alabama and most thought he was coming here. Lane left and he stayed with Alabama.

No big deal though if you transfer to AU, they pay your way anyway.
