| if he transfers to another SEC school wouldnt he have to sit out 2 years as per conference rules?
and if that rule is still in place, and having already redshirted, that wouldnt be a good decision |

| not sure if that rule is still in place. Mike Blakely can play this year after sitting out last season. |

A player transferring from one SEC school to another has to sit out a year, but they can not receive financial aid for 2 years. So for example, C Grant who transferred to AU sat out last year and will be able to play, but will be at his own expense this coming year like last.

| Iirc, he decommitted from Alabama and most thought he was coming here. Lane left and he stayed with Alabama. |
