| | Vol Fanatic | It seems like recruits are finally figuring out that with all of the talent at USC, they're better served going somewhere else. I can see the same deal happening at Texas and Florida soon, where they just have so many studs, that no kid wants to go in and wait 3 or 4 years to even get a shot.
This was brought on by a thing by ESPN earlier, and the fact Vontaze Burfict just switched his commitment from USC to Arizona State. |

| As long as USC has a warm climate, tons of hot girls, pete caroll, and tons of blue chip in-state/near state kids, I say they'll have no problem getting top-notch recruits every year. Posted via VolNation Mobile |

| I keep hearing that most recruits want immediate playing time......USC can't guarantee that when they have 5 star Jr's waiting for their turn. |

And USC is a victim of their own success, their coaches will be hired away. But the weather is great and the girls are hot. |

| I always thought that would happen but USC's been recruiting blue chippers and replacing asst coaches for a good amount of years now without any drop-off. |

| I still don't understand how UCLA isn't recruiting well. They're like USC with dumber, easier chicks. |

UCLA has quite a high Asian female quotient. That being stated, USC girls aren't exactly the hottest. The Song Girls, yes. The rest, eh.

But more importantly: No one in Los Angeles cares about college football. Especially at a school that plays their home games 45 minutes+ from campus.
L.A. is a horrible sports town, especially for its size. It's Lakers first, Lakers second, maybe Dodgers a distant third (but only if they are in the postseason), then more Lakers.
That's why there is no NFL team in Los Angeles: nobody here cares. The population is comprised of soccer lovers and expatriates from other NFL towns that already have strong allegiances. |

Remember it has been back in Oakland for 14 years. A lot of people have moved on. And the Raiders have been so bad, you can't blame people for jumping ship (no pun intended). Most of the Raiders fans I know out here just like the 'culture' behind being a Raiders fan - the black, the pirate symbol, the fact that getting stabbed at a LA Raiders was a rite of passage... |

EDIT: I see you have. Not a fan of Asians, eh?
EDIT 2: I'm confused.
