Players that don't fit the "System"

The more I see this, the more it gets weird.
I can understand where Lane is coming from, but the timing of one of these situations is odd.

As far as this hurting us in the future. Lane will have a better feel for what he wants and will go after that. Should not be a problem later.

Last night it kind of upset me when I heard about the Thigpen deal. But the more I think about it the more I start to understand it. I feel for the kid don't get me wrong.

But............Kiffin was hired to win football games and you do that when you have the best players. At least most of the time. And I think he is doing what he thinks will win him games the quickest way possible. Sometimes he may have to do things he may not like to do. But if it is better for his football team in the long run he will. He is being paid to make the tough calls.

I think alot of things are going to be different with Tennessee Football. Some we will like and some we won't. But things are going to be different for sure. And I like that.

Just getting past this season and into the next couple of recruiting seasons will see things like the Damien situation get less and less if not non-existent.

I hope that CLK told Thigpen he would not fit in because he is very confident he has guys like Janzen and Myles coming in. Maybe this was a move to free up a scholly. I hope we can get Hall, Patterson, Janzen, Myles, Oku, and Brown.

Anymore recruiting is getting so you really have no clue who you will end up with till you get the kid to sign.

There is just so much more information now. And alot of it is total BS. And the kids go back and forth so much more than years ago. I never remember so many decommits and commits who continue to take visit after visit and say they are commited but will decide at a later date? And I honestly think it will get worse the more media is involved in it.
