I couldn't even lift 135 bench/225 squat when I was 19 and in college. It didn't keep me from playing D1 baseball. I didn't develop until I was 22/23 years old and doubled those numbers in eight months.

In other words, numbers have absolutely NOTHING to do with athleticism, heart, determination, skill, and talent.

At 6'8" 310 Lbs being only able to squat your weight is weak. So is being able to only bench less than your weight.

baseball is a completely different animal than football.

Not to mention heart and determination are overrated unless you have the strength and skill to go along with them.
