| Coach Kiffin commitment to Fulmer's recruits? In all the fanfare (both positive and negative) surrounding the Kiffin announcement next week. I'm curious as to how the recruits currently commited are handled?
For instance, let's say for the sake of argument that Lane brings his dad with him, as well as Coach O, and assembles this award winning staff we're all hoping for, my thought would be that this alone would bring interest from all potential recruits, whether they've verbally commmited to another school or not.
Maybe this is an arrogant thought, but what if we get recruits beating down our door to play on The Hill? Does that squeeze out currently commited kids that the outgoing staff had lined up? What is a new coaches responsibility to these kids in a situation like this?
Any thoughts? |

| no one will be busting down the door to play for someone who hasn't been an NCAA HC before. I'm a big Kiffin fan and think he's going to be great but he has no solid evidence yet. |

| As far as this class goes, I think it will still end up in the 10-15 range.

| I'm sure current commitments' scholarship offers will be honored. However, with only 16 current commitments, there will definitely be some high-profile guys that the staff will at least make contact with to gauge their interest in UT. For example, I bet we could see a couple guys committed to South Carolina take visits to UT if we hire Reaves. And it would be that way with the other coaches we hire too.
I think some of you would be amazed with the way certain coaches (like Orgeron) can sway a kid in a short amount of time. And if you can get them on campus this late in the process, you stand a great shot at getting them with a "closer" like Kiffin getting them locked-in.

| I watched a couple shows the other night and they were talking about our recruiting. The best point they made is that alot of other universities have caught up with us in regards to facilities. They were mention 10 years ago we were only one of probably 5 schools that could offer such great facilities and now they are probably 25-30. |

| if your questioning whether recruits will like a coach with no college success yet why don't you look at University of Virginia's recruiting classes when Al Groh first go their and you'll see a couple five stars each year. I think we're definitely in for a great class. |
