| '09 AL DE Anthony Orr '09 AL DE AnthonyOrr
Strongside defensive end
Harvest (AL) Sparkman
Ht: 6-foot-4
Wt: 246 lbs
Forty: 4.78 secs
Bench max: 290 pounds
Class: 2009 (High School)
new article says that he like Tennessee, SoCar, and Clemson. Last season Orr had 60 tackles and seven sacks. He also says that when he trims his list of schools down that the Vols will def make the cut.
Clemson may be tough to beat.

| if he's a three star then we should probably pass on him.

| he could have been a 1 star for all i know. anyway, we could use a little depth at DE in a couple years, so maybe a guy we should look at. I don't know how many big-time DE we are looking at. |

| Actually if you look at Orr on the list of SDE's, he's ranked 24th. The cut-off for 5.7 ranked SDE's is 25th, starting at the 26th ranked they are 5.6's. So technically he is just barely a 5.7... |

I don't know how many big-time DE we are looking at. | By a couple of years, I assume you mean 2010. I think our depth is excellent in 2010:
Martin
Walker
Walls
Sykes
Bohannon
Hall (? DT)
Fowlkes (? WR)
G. Williams (? LB)
R. Williams (? LB)
That seems to be a talented 5 deep not including the position ?'s. Sure, some could leave after junior year and not make it to 2010, but as it stands, our depth is not only going to be deep, it's got quality.
2011, now that's a different story because Martin, Sykes, and Walker will most likely be graduated which means we should be looking for DE's in the 2009 and 2010 recruiting class.
