In case you wondered how UM's doing it. The Vols need to be doing things like this. I posted this also so that you guys can take a look at some names that will be prominent in the years to come.

| They did this last year and locked down some big time talent during that weekend. They put their NC trophy in the middle of the field and just left it there to tease the kids. |

| I noticed where Daniel Hood from Knox Catholic is expected to attend. I also noticed by clicking on his link Scout has him as a TE. I thought he was being recruited as a DE. I think UT was recruiting him as a DE until they backed off from him. |

| Yep, your right. I must of have him confused for some other DE. I wonder why scout has him as a TE? His size and speed looks more like a TE than an OL in college. |

| Alabama is having a camp, too. Apparently Sentimore will be in attendance. Its the headlining article on their rivals page, if anyone with an account is interested in reading it.
Why do we only have one camp? It seems to be the best way to get summer verbals, and our biggest rivals are on top of them. One of the threads mentions our 7 v 7 camp, is this anything legit? |

| Kirkpatrick is likely a Bammer. This is one area where I wish we could improve in recruiting. Friday Night Lights is a huge sell for UF, but our camp really lacks the pizzazz that Urb throws out. It'd be nice if we could come up with some sort of scheme for our camps. |

| We do need to address that. UF right now is a recruiting machine. They're also in our division. We need to be keeping up to keep up.
The college game has lent itself to the younger coaches having alot of success. Phil needs to hire someone and make our camp just as good if not better. You got to sell nowadays. Lets start selling or buying like the rest of them. |

| Phil has the rep as an ace recruiter and he is a smart guy so he has to see what UF is doing. You don't have to reinvent the wheel just copy it. |

| Why would you want UT to copy UF? Tennessee should try to sell themselves more, but we have a much better football tradition here. I think we should emphasize what we do best instead of trying to copy our rivals. UT has a lot of great qualities. We just need to be sure they make headlines and that the recruits know about them. |

| Don't be silly. I meant copy them in putting on a friday night lights type of camp. I wasn't talking about changing our colors to orange and blue. |

| Agreed. I do think it would help our PR if we did something a little bit flashy. Maybe the new coaching blood can think up something fresh. Fulmer works the 'family' pitch well, but I think these kids like to hear something to get them excited too. |
