| | VolNation's Grand Poobah | Aldrick Fordham SC DE picks SC over TN Not sure how interested we were in this guy but it appears we had offered: Quote: |
Fordham also has an offer from Tennessee, but ultimately chose the home-state Gamecocks for a number of reasons.
| He doesn't appear to be rated that highly from everything I can find but I figured I would throw it out there. |

| Clemson worries me much more than USCe when it comes to SC recruits. We haven't had too much trouble competing against Spurrier since he's been at the helm of the gamecocks. |

| Hey I wouldn't doubt it. Why else would these kids be going to Clemson? To touch the rock? |

USC picked up its second commitment of the day Tuesday night with DE Aldrick Fordham (6-4 237) of Timberland contacted Steve Spurrier and made his pledge. Fordham accepted Spurrier's offer over one from Tennessee. "It was close to home and I grew up rooting for them," Fordham said. "They seem to do a lot of stunts and blitzes and a lot of moving around (on defense), and I like that. It seems like a very exciting place to play. I feel confident about them winning the SEC Championship. They've made some good runs and in the next two years or so we'll be there." Fordham, who also plays tight end, had 60 tackles and five sacks last season. His teammate, OL Quinton Washington, also is considering the Gamecocks and Fordham said he's doing all he can to make sure they're teammates at the next level, too. "I'm trying to convince him to be a Gamecock as well," Fordham said. "When he signs, I think he'll be a Gamecock." Fordham is USC's seventh commitment and the third in less than a week.
| what really makes me laugh about the Page pic is the explanation. He was with his uncle restocking an atm. yeah, that's how it's done...rolling down the street in a ford focus with about 80 grand in cash. look at the pic, the windows arent even tinted.

| I would like to hear what Myles Brand thinks about that pic. There's more going in Clemson than meets the eye...I have a feeling that when it all comes out, it'll be like Switzer's OU years.
