| | VolNation's Grand Poobah | 2009 Football Prospects and Index We are going to try something new. Each prospect that we are discussing that has legit interest in Tennessee will have an official thread. Ideally, I would like for those thread to include some basic information and/or pics about the prospect. Kind of like Rex does - example. Note that the first post provides basic information about the prospect and note how he listed the title. I believe that will work well. Hopefully, between myself, Rex, the community, and the eventual addition of a couple of recruiting mods we can keep some order to this forum. Please also be careful to make sure these official prospect threads on topic.
Now for me, the biggest issue of the idea above is how to be able to quickly access a prospect's thread if you have some information to add. Most people won't use the search function, unfortunately. So that 's where this thread comes in. This thread will provide an index of prospects with the link to their corresponding thread here.
Feel free to add any suggestions that you might have to this process. Also, please feel free to use this thread to suggest a prospect's thread that needs to be linked. It might be one that is not on my list or it could be a better thread than the one I have linked since we have several for some of these prospects.
Lastly, many of these links aren't in the new format that we would like to see. If you wish to start one, following the basic guidelines above, just post the new link here and I will update this list.
I realize at first, this list will not be comprehensive and it will take everyone's help to make this process work.
Any questions?
Thanks

| Not sure if you want to go into this much detail but maybe a sub forum of prospects only and let only the mods create the original thread. That would keep all the topics the players names and keep the need for mod interference to only those threads. Use the main recruiting forum for other recruiting topics and future recruits and or stat threads like LWS does.
Also maybe seperate Football from basketball as well or just use a football or basketball Icon by said recruits name to make it easier to decifer. But with SO many prospects maybe a forum for each... /shrug

I would think those two for sure contribute the most in this forum and would easily stay on top of that. If someone created a prospect thread in the main recruiting forum the mod could just move it where it belongs. |

| what shocks me more than anything is that Freak had a good idea. But, like my granddaddy used to say, "Even a lame dog catches a rabbit once in awhile."
