| '09 LA LB Jonathan Stewart Shreveport (LA) Byrd High School Ht: 6-foot-4 Wt: 221 lbs Forty: 4.64 secs Vertical: 28 inches Class: 2009 (High School) Scout $

From the A&M site. Stewart says he enjoyed his second trip to Texas A&M and getting to know the coaches and campus better. While he claims no favorite, he says he will visit Texas tech, Texas A&M and Tennessee for sure. Academics, coaching, and the campus atmosphere will be the three most important factors.

| We aren't dying for a LB but when the D line is hurting a LB sure does help, at times, on the run. We could use some good LBs, DEs & DL, so I say go hard for him! Hope we land him/ |

By A Bone. Stewart had a great showing at Alabama this week, and was offered. He talks about how much he likes the coaches, facilities and the fact that Alabama is a great program who is back on the rise. He wants to check out Alabama, Texas Tech, Texas A&M and Tennessee for sure.

Lewis represented the first of a trifecta of sorts for the A&M staff in Louisiana over the last few days as linebackers Michael Lamothe from New Iberia and Jonathan Stewart from Shreveport Byrd followed Lewis' commitment with their own. In fact, it's the most successful year that the Aggies have had in Louisiana since the early 1990's.
| I think we have our sights set on some other guys anyway. on a side note A&M is having a decent year out of the gate with Sherman.
