Vincent Smith

I guess Drayton was able to keep some irons hot in the Sunshine State. Supposedly, the Vols are in on another FLA RB. No clue what the chances are though.

Per Rivals, Tennessee isn't even on a list, and they just reported that Michigan has a steady lead.

Per Rivals, he has offers from Michigan, Minnesota, Tennessee, Southern Miss and Iowa State. Looks like Michigan leads.

I don't have the membership, but I looked at his schools that he was considering, and there were about 9 on there...none of which were Tennessee.

There was Michigan, Miami, Clemson, and others...but no Tennessee.
Maybe that info was for subscribers only. Oh well.

Sometimes, those lists are wrong.

I really don't think we need this kid anyways. He's really small.

That's what they said about James Stewart.

I agree. We've got pretty good depth right now.

I also agree with that. "Little Man" was awesome.

I just don't see why we are going after this guy. We have plenty of RBs, we got Giles who should be great, and we're in the running still for Oku. Why are we going after another 'under the radar' RB? Why does Clawson want so many freaking RBs?

Brian Westbrook was a small, 'under the radar' running back. Look what Clawson and Drayton did with him. We have depth at RB but Poole and Creer were not recruited by the new staff and they like to run a two back system. Foster is a senior, Hardesty could go down at any moment and a couple of the backs that we have recruited are looking to be turned into LB's. Extra RB's can always be used on special teams.

He might be a backup to Oku also?

I guess that makes sense, but I'd still feel more comfortable investing a scholly in an 'under the radar' player at a position of need for us...like DT

I understand your point, but I don't think you can pass on the No. 1 all purpose back in the nation.
