| There will be tons of Bama fans there. They are well aware of our discontent here and know that there could be some tickets available. I'd like to think no matter how bad we're playing, people would show up for the Bama game. |

After making an official visit to Notre Dame last month, four-star defensive tackle Chris Bonds couldn't hide his feelings.
"I'm not going to lie, I really loved it up there," said the 6-foot-4, 262-pounder from Columbia, S.C., in the days after seeing South Bend.

| Bonds is going to Ttown for the Ole Miss game this weekend. It is the first big home game (-Kentucky) for the undefeated tide and will be crazy down there. He will leave impressed no doubt.
Then next week, he will get to see the tide beat the hell out of UT in Neyland.
Might as well just forget about Bonds going to UT. |

| I actually saw Chris and Tajh before the game. I didnt get to talk to Boyd because he was high fiving (sp?) fans, but I did talk to Chris and his mom. Well, I assume it was his mother, she was wearing his high school letterman's jacket and looked to be about the right age. I asked him if he was going to Tennessee and he laughed and said probably. I told him he would get alot of pt as a freshman and could possibly even start. He said "Yeah, that's what they tell me." I told him that we needed him badly and all he had to do was look at our roster. All in all he was a very personable kid. I was very impressed. Boyd just looked like he was loving every minute of the atmosphere outside the stadium. This was right after the Vol Walk.

| I couldnt get one of Boyd because he was kind of going from fan to fan to fast for me to follow, but this is Chris. Seemed like a really good kid.

"Coach Brooks and coach Caldwell have talked to me a lot about the opportunity, and that's something that's attractive," Bonds acknowledged. "They didn't promise me anything, but they told me I would have a chance to play early there if I worked hard.
"Robert Ayers told me the same thing, he was telling me that they're losing a lot of guys off this year's team and it would be a good chance for a freshman to play there next year."
