| It's not quite that easy Hens. Teams get smothered every year trying to recruit against USC for players that USC is stacked at their respective position with(LB, RB, etc). |

| Great news on Bonds. Looks like he has a real shot at being a Vol. He used to live in the Knoxville area and his mom wants him to be a Vol. Said he is doing the process for her and UT will definitely get an official. He also said that UT was better than Virginia and Georgia. I see 'Bama as the only threat right now.

The only thing to worry about is if saban offers him more money than we do. |

Well Dan Brook did explain our situation at DT to Bonds and he seems interested per Rivals. |

| I think Bonds is Tennessee's to lose.
The new Rivals article really sheds some light on what motivates this kid. He wants to play early, and he wants to get to the league to buy his mother a house....he said that he's doing everything his does for his mother...
...and that's important because his mother grew up in Tennessee and used to sell hot dogs inside Neyland Stadium...he said she's always told him that she wants to see him in the Orange and White, singing Rocky Top.
With his momma pushing UT, I think the Vols will land him. |

| man it never hurts to have smart players in the league Quote:
Bonds told Brooks he plans to major in mechanical engineering. That’s when Brooks talked about former UT defensive tackle Darwin Walker, who has had success in the NFL and the engineering field.
“He’s making more money with his engineering degree than on the football field,” Bonds said. “Football is not always Plan A. You have to have a plan for the rest of your life.”
| I just found the bolded part funny
