| God, I wouldn't mind having a QB that could kill the defense either way he wanted, and bringing excitement to what has been a boring, yet productive offense. |

| From watching his videos on rivals he doesn't look like a very good quarterback. He just lobs it up and hopes someone catches it. He is just a Sophomore so he can develop into a better QB, but I'm sure he would be a pretty good receiver. |

| Malik's video looks pretty impressive! Lots of down the field passes on the money. But then again he was probably throwing to his brother most of the time. He looks good though. Get him hooked!
Now, if only Je'ron had a younger brother who played DT... |

Stokes' passing stats were OK (78-156-1256 yards and 13 TDs), but I think Randy Moore's claim that "Tennessee may be closing in on securing perhaps the most talented passing combo in all of high school football" is way over the top...and off the mark. |

I don't think you guys seem to understand that he was only a Sophomore last season, he still has two years of HS football to grow and improve |

My favorite(and usually most productive) players at UT have been "less than" top talent in HS (re: less than 4 stars). | yeah, Peyton Manning and Jamal Lewis werent productive and Im sure you werent a fan of either.

| FWIW, I certainly wasn't slamming the kid. He may indeed have prodigious abilities but at least last year, he didn't show signs of being a running threat...which was my main point, that and throwing a little water on Randy Moore's ridiculous statement.
The numbers Malik and Je'Ron have put up so far simply don't support the kind of hyperbole used by Moore to describe them as a tandem. Still, I'm aware that Je'Ron's a tremendous talent and his brother may turn out to be as well. If so, I hope we land him in 2010. |

| Plain and simple. If Tennessee is the leader for this kid, and he obviously is great talent, he will be talking up UT at all the camps. He will no doubt meet Eric Berry's brothers and be able to talk UT football at every camp, every all star game, and stuff like that.
I hope he puts up great numbers this year along with his brother and hope they both can pull a lot of players over to the Orange and White. |
