Lance Stephenson (Don't get too excited)

I figured I would post this about Lance Stephenson. We had heard we might be able make some noise in this kid's recruitment, but that was a long time ago. Well he hasn't mentioned us lately until this particular article. (look towards the bottom of the article).

I saw this posted over on Volquest, and there are two guys on there who have serious connections to the basketball program who have stated Bruce Pearl has something up his sleeve that will blow our minds. Now this could mean nothing but I found it rather interesting to see him actually mention us. We will see if this actually pans out.

It really is incredible. No one could have dreamed that we would be in contention for these "superstars" 4 years ago before Bruce set foot on campus. What a great turnaround, and let's just pray we can sway him to K-Town.

I dunno if Memphis is the lock. He did mention Kentucky...also here he is discussed with the ACC, but I don't think he has an offer from UNC yet.

in an insider article on scout he says that he has narrowed his list to just ucla, usc, and kansas so dont get excited at all about this guy cuz hes not comin to Tennessee. we got a better shot at dominic cheek.

I would say our chances are about as equally bad.

Cheek is going to the Big East IMO, rumors have been Rutgers for a while.
