He'll be able to get an education at Baylor, but I don't know that I'd exactly call accepting a scholarship offer to play football at Baylor "recovering".

To be honest, he could pull the starting job away from Griffin. Griffin is one of the fastest guys I've ever seen, but I think I could pass better than he can as sad as that is.

The only games I've seen, Griffin completed less than 50% of his passes and in general, just made some terrible decisions.

I guess we just watched different games against different talent. Plus Petty's arm doesn't impress me. Rick Clausen had more oompf and spiral on his throws.

If I'm correct he set a record for starting his career without throwing any ints for so many passes. He threw only a few for the year and had a great PE rating and acc%. Griffin is a good passer.
