| Still way to early to say anything about any of these guys period.
What are you gonna say if they have huge Senior years and have film come out that is just unreal?
Star talk is crap but to do it 8 months before signing day is just pointless. |

I will gladly take the guys now or after(if they do)they rank up. I just don't want to end this class with 3 4*'s and 17 2 and 3 *'s. |

I'd say that the percentages are in your favor but only slightly. Too many kids get looked over in their junior seasons and a lot of kids have growth spurts or get hurt which makes it very difficult to project players. I will agree that you have a somewhat better chance of winning if your team's average star ranking is high. I think it is very similar to the ratios in the pros. 5 star recruits are like 1st round draft picks. They usually have the biggest upside and potential but a good percentage of them bust. |

So why even bring it up?

| You said it's early and that the rankings can change. So to me it doesn't make sense as to why you bring it up.

Out of 55 from these classes, only 25 have made some type of significant contribution to the team. Hopefully the trend changes with 07 and 08 classes. |
The 2004 and 2005 classes contradict your point. Lots of good contributors from those classes and lots of unprovens who should contribute this year and next year. I'm just failing to see your point about our lower star players being disappointing. It seems to me that we get as many key contributors who are 3 stars and under as we do 4 and 5 star players. |

| Like I said there are exceptions, but not every 2 and 3 star prospect is going to be a major contributor. If you guys want a class full of 2 and 3 star prospects well then . It's mostly hit and miss with the 2 and 3 star prospects. Some will be good and some won't do anything. I'd rather not take that chance. |

| I'd like to get this guys commitment regardless. We will land more than 3 4*s anyways, we already have 5 if you consider Hall and Sykes who should be 4* at the least.

| 182, I really do understand what you are trying to say. The more stars the better I feel. But, if a man has his heart set on being a Vol, you can't for much more than that. This is going to shape up to be a great class |
