| I wish I had my recruiting board ready to show, but I don't. But here's what I've gathered about Conner
He's a big LSU fan, and would commit there in a heartbeat, but LSU won't offer a scholarship due to low availability numbers. This time last week, I pegged Conner as a "cross your fingers" guy, which in my vernacular, means - we have a shot, but work to do.
Now, where does he say we're in his top 4? I haven't seen that.
However, I think this kid is a sleeper, even WITH his **** rating.
6'2" 210 and still in high school? He looks like a stud, too.
I think Ole Miss is going to be a big factor in his race.

| UA All-American Montrell Connor names four favorites Montrell Connor told ESPN affiliate Web site BullDawgJunction.com that Mississippi State, Tennessee, Oklahoma and USC are currently on top of his list.
Connor also gave a timetable for his decision, "I am going to wait and go through the whole process and then commit during my senior year. So far, (the recruiting process) hasn't bothered me any and I am enjoying the process."
Additionally, the Under Armour All-American mentioned that former Mississippi State and current Atlanta Falcons running back Jerious Norwood is one of his favorite football players.
Last fall, the highly coveted junior rushed for 1,139 yards and scored 13 touchdowns.

| I could see him playing LB or S. Do we really need another RB if Giles is a silent commit? |

| He's listed as an ATH, so he might be open to trying another position.
When they tried him at LB in HS, it didn't go well.

| I'd take him at RB with Giles.

| Just as a weird aside: I think he'd be a better fit for Clawson's "westbrook" role than Damien Thigpen.
