"The last time I talked to Coach Porter was about three weeks ago," Smith explained. "I've been looking at the depth chart. I went up there and they sat me down and showed me the depth chart. What I saw is that they play four or five DB's at one time on the field, and I think that's good. But they have too many young guys."
| comments on LSU from BS. Maybe they gave dropped in his eyes, but it would appear we have the same issue.

| The 5-foot-11, 172-pound Smith – rated the state's No. 1 prospect ahead of linebacker Jarvis Jones of Columbus-Carver, trimmed his list of 30 scholarship offers to the five schools he wants to pay official visits to -- a list that includes Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Clemson, South Carolina and Georgia.
We made the final cut. I think he is gonna come visit the week of the Alabama game |

| He just cut Clemson from his list. He has visited Florida, and plans to visit Auburn and Tennessee for the Bama game. That's all he has planned for now. He was just recently upgraded to a 5*. |

| CB Branden Smith, Atlanta Washington: Smith has taken an official visit to Florida and has trips scheduled to Auburn and Florida State in November, but Georgia is the team to beat. He is scheduled for a December visit to Athens.

| Cornerback Branden Smith from Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta is no longer considering Tennessee.
Smith told the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Monday that he decided to drop UT after Phillip Fulmer announced he will step down as the Vols’ head coach following the season.
“They’re out,” said Smith, the No. 1 prospect in the state of Georgia according to the AJC and Rivals.com.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Smith visited UT on Oct. 25 to watch the Vols play Alabama.
Smith is still considering Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Florida State.

| "they out" what a great choice of words. I can only imagine how big their heads must get when getting recruited so heavily.
