We're talkin' about practice man, not the game, not the game, but practice.

"Every team I have ever played for likes to run,'' said Maze, who as a high school receiver and free safety ran a 4.4-second 40-yard dash. "Oklahoma slowed me down, and it didn't really fit my style.''

Pearl should have no trouble convincing this kid that UT will let him run and play his game, while UK would slow him down. UK will have to somehow convince him that they will start running next year. Pearl can just pop in the video of any game.

"
(Maze's Coach) Swanson spent two years as an assistant on Pearl’s staff at Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2001-03).
Swanson said Maze could be successful in any system he plays in, but he’s confident Maze would do well in Pearl’s system because it’s the same one Swanson runs at Hutchinson.
“It’s a system that works well for Bobby,” said Swanson, who played at Hutchinson himself. “I try, as much as possible, to emulate a lot of the same things that Bruce does and what we did at Milwaukee."

Swanson said UT assistant Steve Forbes made the most recent visit to Kansas early last week. Swanson said, Forbes gave him his first coaching job at Barton (Kans.) Community College when Forbes was the head coach there and the two have stayed good friends.
"

It seems like we should really have the inside track on this guy. I hope he does what Hopson did and commits to UT without talking to UK again.
