Next week, Tennessee offensive coordinator Dave Clawson will hit the recruiting road visiting quarterbacks around the country and the first year Vol play-caller is in need of a signal-caller for the class of 2009. One stop Clawson is expected to make is in Connecticut to further evaluate New London playmaker Jordan Reed | little help?

| 4* DTQB
Has offers from Michigan, Florida, Duke, and Boston College just to name a few. If RichRod and Urban Cryer want him he must be good. |

| Only two interceptions thrown as a Junior, wow! He must be pretty accurate. 28 passing TD's arent bad either, then add the 8 rushing TD's. Looks like he might be a good fit for Clawson's system. It also looks like he has about a 60% completion rate. Not bad. |

| are QB pool is extremely thin for this year...we may end up not addressing QB until next season. speaking of which, Je'ron's little brother, malik, is expected to be highly sought after...one would have to think we have an automatic lead for him. |

| Yes, Reed is that good I've seen him play and know CT football. Don't let the numbers fool you either. Connecticut has a rediculous 50 point rule, which means if a team beats another team by more than 50 points, the head coach is suspended for the next game. His team blew out almost every team and had to pull back the reins, usually by mid third quarter. If he had been able to play better competition, he could have put up twice the touchdowns. He's accurate and has unbelievable armstrength. A special kid for the vols to snag. |
