Why? it has to do with recruiting and why we arent recruiting him. If its moved you will see non stop Hood threads made by people who dont frequent the board as much or just dont pay attention.

You dont know the whole story, if you could read the transcripts, you would see jealous DA using the son to try and get the dad! Victim testified that he did'nt do anything and that he was afraid because the older boy was in a gang! Other defendant plead saying that he did it and that Daniel did nothing, he did'nt even know if he was in the room! So Judge not that you be not judged!

Could very well be the case but with the facts as they are available to us surely you could understand peoples reaction to what they now know. What you are telling us may be the case but to be very honest our team does not need any more bad publicity right now. I am not saying he is a bad kid because I am sure I do not have all the facts but I can certainly see why we backed off and given what I have learned from the link posted here I tend to agree with backing off him.

Well, from the court documents I just read he had no remorse for the victim and blamed everything on the 17 year old and the victim. Definitely don't need this type of attitude on the team even if he has changed.

"I would say Ole Miss, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Stanford and Colorado are the main schools I'm looking at now but that could change."

What position is Knoxville Catholic standout being recruited to play?

"Most schools are recruiting me to play OL. Auburn told me that I could try OL, DL and TE. Virginia Tech is recruiting me to play DL. Ole Miss is the only school focusing on me playing TE. This year is my first year to play TE and I've always wanted to do it. Ole Miss told me that if TE didn't work out for me they still wanted me because of my athletic ability. I thought that was pretty cool."

Does Hood have a favorite position?

"It's hard to say. I've always wanted to play TE. We'll just have to see how it works out."

I thought it was interesting. Im curious to see where he lands, wouldnt it be just great if he went to Bama and became an NCAA AA. Im not downing the coaches for passing on him, but it would be just our luck for him to become a pillar of the community and a 1st round NFL draft pick.
