| I don't think that his desire to delay the commitment is a poor reflection on Tennessee.
It seems that this kid is a Vol fan, and will likely commit to UT...but, rather than making an emotional decision, he's going to try to make a level-headed, well-informed decision on where to go to school. I applaud that.
If UT's the best place for him, he'll end up on the hill. |

If a kid from Texas wants to go to a Texas system school and can play football, that is probably the only way most of them can get in due to the 10% rule. In Texas you are only guaranteed a spot in a system school if you graduate in the top 10% of your class, no matter if your class was 50 or 5,000 students. |

Mack Brown couldn't get Adrian Peterson or Rhett Bomar to stay in Texas. |

| I would like to think this kid will eventually come around. Maybe he is just going to play it for what its worth and enjoy his visits to other schools. Can't blame him for that. Although, we have lost local kids in the past. This one will be a big loss with our needs on the DL. He sure does seem happy wearing the Auburn stuff. |

| I just get the feeling, and it's prob just because of the Harrison Smith ordeal, that Hood goes elsewhere. |

| He does want to play on the defensive side of the ball so you have to think that plays to our advantage. |
