| Well that is good news that he is not comng to Memphis because local players from the city of Memphis seem to be better off when they go to other schools. Penny Hardaway and Anotnio Burks are exceptions to this. What I don't understand is why Memphis would try and keep him from UT. UT is a nice rival game for Memphis but won't affect anything in their conference.

This is a hotbed of talent for recruits. Now the sad part about it is that the majority of the kids that get signed are not even the best in the area. Do some research on Lester Hudson who will be a complete steal in the NBA Draft. He went to UT Martin but he could have played at any D-1 school in the country. There are hundreds of Lester Hudson, Chris Loftons, Chris Douglas Roberts, and Tyler Smiths right here in Memphis !
