| At least we are in the running. Eventually, we will land one of these top recruits that where we are on the short list. |

| Why does everyone seem so certain on Hopson? From reading around the forum, it seems that many people are certain that we will land scotty hopson. From what videos i have watched and what info i found on him, it seems that we are just one among a number of schools he is interested in. I have never read or heard him saying that he favors tennessee more than one of the other schools. Is volnation just over-certain or am I missing something here? |

| Nobody is absolutely certain expect possibly VolinArizona who I believe said 95% sure. Mark Maggard has been saying most likely TN with KY a close second (he is a recruiting guy who is a KY fan as well). Several others who are close enough to Scotty like Cotton and others have been hearing that he is certainly leaning toward TN but still weighing his options and still going to visit other schools. So, as far as I can tell that is where it stands. We will just have to wait until he takes his time to thoroughly look at 2 or 3 other schools and unless something changes his mind, he will ultimately be a Vol.
Did I leave anything out? |

| You can't take the articles too serious. They don't mean anything. His first visit after the season was to UT. Rumors are flying about inside sources who say he already verbally committed to the coaches. Can't confirm the validity on that but it's likely true considering the amount of rumors out about him. |

(Double click to see more of Pearl schooling Billy Clyde….again)
I received a text message from a reliable Rivals.com source that Shooting guard Scotty Hopson Hopkinsville (KY) University Heights has verbally committed to Bruce Pearl during his visit to Knoxville. Hopson comments were: “I can help take this program to the next level” and ” Tennessee is much more of a morally stable situation than other programs, I just felt at home here”. Hopson’s mother is reportedly impressed with Pearl.
This verbal was contigent on Tyler Smith staying in Knoxville one more year. Pearl has Smith leaning 75% (my source’s best guess) in staying.
