| I don't know if he's confirmed for the Arkansas game, I think it's just a rumor. But he probably will have an official visit later this season. |

| I think it's more that we're in the best position to land him rather than being a clear cut leader.
We're not *too* far from home like some schools. There will me immediate playing time if he comes here and will likely start, we play a fast paced style which he said he likes, he really likes Pearl, and we've proven that we can be a contender.
I think Louisville won't get him if they land Evans.. so that would knock them out. And I just can't see him going to Kentucky - even if they do start recruiting him hard now. |

| I think the Scotty Hopson recruitment smells a little like the Elliot W. recruitment. I'm not getting my hopes up at all. I think a kid like Hopson wants one thing and that's someone that can take him to the next level and Pearl hasn't proven that he can do that yet. I do think we will see it in the future, but he's got to prove that he can send the kids to the NBA. I do think Pearl desparately needs to get this kid though. Right now we are competing with NC, Duke, KS, MSU, etc on the floor. I don't see that we continue to do that in the next couple years with the last 2 recruiting classes that we have brought in. I don't think the kids are bad, but they are not the talent that's going to compete with the best teams in a couple years. I think even if Hopson is 2 and done, then we still keep this machine rolling with the best of the best. |

| If we sign Hopson and Tyler stays for another year, we will have an excellent team next season, with the only hole being the loss of experience that comes with losing three senior guards. |

| doesn't feel good about this guy. i've learned not to get my hopes up on recruits lately. Especially after this year's football recruiting season. |
