Blaine Gabbert... 5-star QB from Missouri, recently backed out of a verbal to Nebraska. Rivals still has us in his top 4... we still recruiting him hard and do we have a chance?

Mizzou, imo. They are having a great year and it's instate. He won't go to Nebraska and I don't think we are pushing for a QB unless his last name is Pryor.

Also talked to a guy who goes to Mizzou but also attended alot of Gabbert's games this year. Says Gabbert is having a definite down year and doesn't really know how he's even keeping his 5 star status

Yeah but I am not sure if Mizzou will take him bacause of that Dalton kid that just commited to Mizzou for next year. I hear Dalton is better than Gabbert up here in my circles. So if Mizzou takes Gabbert then I think they will lose Dalton.

Jimmy Clausen was #1 in the nation and Dayne Crist still committed to ND the following year. Competition doesn't scare kids like Dalton. Either way I agree with you that Dalton should be much better than Gabbert. I watched Dalton play my HS team quite a few times and even when we were beating him, the kid scared me to death. |

We will see if that is the case. I am not sure if Mizzou will take on that escapade with two top QBs. I think they will lose one of the two, because they want to be a featured QB. Maybe one of them might go to KU after the season they have had. So we will see how this will turn out. Im going to keep monitoring it.
